Japan announces imports of nickel rose in first 9 months

It is reported that Japan's nickel ore imports amounted to 355,941 tons in first nine months, falling by 9.2% from a month ago and down by 16.8% year on year.

Meanwhile, the country's nickel ore imports total amounted to 3.7 million tons in first nine months, increasing by 9.6% compared to the same period of last year.

In fact, Japan has imported of nickel ore amounted to 1.8 million tons from Indonesia in first nine months, up by 20% compared to the same period of last year; imports of nickel from Philippine amounted to 771,565 tons, up 38.4% compared to the same period of 2013.
